Welcome to October!! Or, as I like to call it, 1,000 Acts of Kindness month!
This October, the Anti-Hate and Anti-Bias program at LUSO Community Services is THRILLED to present this year’s theme: KINDNESS CONNECTS! The 1,000 Acts of Kindness Challenge is calling upon the community to creatively connect through kindness. This means finding engaging ways to connect classrooms to community, businesses to bright ideas, organizations to opportunities and individuals through inspiration! Don’t forget to register here 🙂
There are a ton of exciting upcoming events – starting with, but not limited to, the events on the calendar below. Please submit your events/initiatives to me at firstname.lastname@example.org or via the website contact us form! I’d also love Love LOVE to come out to your events, so keep me in the loop!
Needless to say I am PUMPED for the 1,000 Acts of Kindness kick off tomorrow morning at Cherryhill Village Mall! Kindness Connects Generations will bring together seniors from Cherryhill Village and students from Eagle Heights Public School for fun community building and kindness spreading activities. Please join us for a special event with plenty of opportunities to give back to the community through kindness! 9:00am-12:30pm in the Cherryhill Village Mall food court 🙂
For the second year in a row, we’d like to extend a gracious THANK YOU to Libro Financial Group for their unbelievably kind and generous donation to this fabulous annual campaign. So much of what we have planned wouldn’t be possible without Libro’s commitment to kindness!
